Welcome!

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Rhode Island. Previously I was the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute's Earl S. Tupper Fellow.   I  graduated from  Louisiana State University working with Mike Hellberg.

I am interested on  how organisms cope with environmental variation. I combine ecology and evolution to understand patterns and processes underlying biodiversity. I use
long-term field observations, transplant experiments, morphometrics  and genomics in my research.
